Seoul luggage storage is easier than most first-time visitors expect. Got a late flight and an early checkout, or you just don’t want to drag a suitcase around Bukchon all day? There are three main Seoul luggage storage options, and which one you want depends on whether you’d rather save money, save a trip back to the station, or skip luggage logistics entirely.
Here’s how they actually compare.

The short answer
- Cheapest, DIY: T-Locker (unmanned subway lockers) — book through the app, pay by the hour.
- No app, no hassle: T-Luggage (staffed counters) — hand your bag to a person, get a ticket, done.
- Don’t want to carry it at all: T-PASS — they pick your bag up at the airport and deliver it to your hotel (or the other way around).

T-Locker (또타라커) — the cheapest Seoul luggage storage option
T-Locker is Seoul Metro’s own locker network, and it’s genuinely everywhere: Seoul Metro lists it at 269 stations across the city, mostly on Lines 1–9 (on Line 1 it only covers Seoul Station to Cheongnyangni, and on Line 9 only Samjeon to Jungang Bohoon Hospital — so double-check your specific station has one).
How it works:
- Download the T-Locker (또타라커) app (available in English), or scan the QR code directly on the locker — Seoul Metro rolled out a no-app web option in September 2026.
- Find your station, check real-time locker availability, and pick a size.
- Pay in-app or on the web, scan the QR code at the locker, and you’re done.
Sizes and weekday pricing (first 4 hours, then hourly):
- Small (50 x 30 x 60 cm): ~2,200 KRW
- Medium (50 x 45 x 60 cm): ~3,300 KRW
- Large (50 x 90 x 60 cm): ~4,400 KRW
Weekend pricing runs a bit higher (roughly 3,100–6,100 KRW for the same window, depending on size). Lockers are generally accessible from 5:00 AM to midnight, and if you need somewhere for longer than a day or two, T-Locker also has a month-long storage option that works like a personal subway locker.
One thing to know: valuables, food, plants/animals, and anything hazardous aren’t allowed in the lockers.
T-Luggage (유인 보관) — staffed counters
If downloading another app for a 2-day trip sounds like a hassle, T-Luggage is the low-effort version of Seoul luggage storage — you hand your bag to a staff member, they give you a claim ticket, you pick it up later. No app required.
The flagship location is at Seoul Station, on B1 near Exit 1, open daily from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Staffed counters also exist at a few other major hubs around the city, including Hongdae and Myeongdong — worth checking ahead if you’re relying on one specifically, since hours can vary by location.
Pricing tends to run noticeably higher than the unmanned lockers — roughly 3,000–9,000 KRW on weekdays (4-hour block) and 4,000–13,000 KRW on weekends, depending on bag size. You’re paying for the convenience of a person doing the work and a fixed, easy-to-find location.

T-PASS — skip carrying it altogether
T-PASS is a different category of Seoul luggage storage entirely: it’s a luggage delivery service between Incheon/Gimpo Airport and your hotel (or vice versa), so you never actually carry your suitcase through the subway at all. You can also book it as a same-day storage-and-delivery combo, and it covers storage at the same 269 T-Locker subway stations.
- A one-way delivery runs roughly 25,000–45,000 KRW per bag depending on the platform you book through — you can compare current pricing and book through Klook’s T-PASS listing, which also sells multi-day passes.
- Book at least 3 days ahead — this isn’t a same-hour service.
- Pickup windows at Incheon are roughly 4:00 AM–10:00 PM, but confirm your specific terminal and flight time work with their cutoff. Bags are generally capped around 25 kg.
This is the one to pick if you’re arriving exhausted after a long-haul flight and just want your bag to magically appear at your hotel a few hours later.
Which Seoul luggage storage option should you actually use?
- Doing a day trip and coming back to the same station? T-Locker. It’s the cheapest by a wide margin.
- Checked out of your hotel but your flight’s not until tonight? T-Luggage at Seoul Station — no app, no real-time availability stress.
- Landing jet-lagged and don’t want to deal with bags at all? T-PASS, booked a few days before you fly.
FAQ
Can I use T-Locker if I don’t read Korean?
Yes — the app has an English interface, and the lockers themselves use QR codes, not Korean-only menus.
What if a station’s lockers are full?
The app shows real-time availability per station, so check before you walk over. Major interchange stations (Seoul Station, Hongik Univ., Gangnam) fill up fastest on weekends.
Is it safe to leave bags in an unmanned locker overnight?
T-Locker’s standard booking covers the hours you pay for; if you need overnight or multi-day storage, use the month-long option rather than just letting a short booking lapse.
