Anseong Farmland (안성팜랜드) is a huge working ranch run by Korea’s agricultural co-op, about an hour south of Seoul. You can feed animals, watch a pig race and walk through flower fields in one afternoon. We spent a full afternoon there on October 9, 2026, and this guide is built on that visit: what it costs, what’s worth your time, and how to get there without a car.

Last checked: October 2026. Ticket prices and show times change by season. Confirm on the official site before you go. Dollar figures use about 1,380 KRW = 1 USD (October 2026).

We went ourselves: Thursday, October 9, 2026, from early afternoon until closing. Busy but not packed on a weekday.

Feeding the animals

This is the main reason to come. Buy a cup of feed inside, then work your way around the pens. The ducks are the most eager customers. They rush the fence as soon as they see the cup, which is great for kids and a little alarming for everyone else.

The sheep are calm and happy to be fed by hand. The dairy cows in the barn are huge up close, and a sign warns that they may bump into the fence, so keep your hands on the visitor side.

The pig race show

The pig race (돼지 경주) packs the bleachers. Small pigs sprint around a grass track and over tiny ramps while the host keeps up a running commentary in Korean. You don’t need to understand a word to enjoy it. Check the show schedule at the entrance and get there about 10 minutes early for a seat with a view.

Autumn flower fields: pink muhly and cosmos

In late September and October the fields behind the barns turn pink and purple. The pink muhly (핑크뮬리) field is the photo spot everyone is looking for. The cosmos field gets beautiful at sunset. We stayed until closing for that light, and it was the highlight of the day.

How to get to Anseong Farmland from Seoul

  • By car: about 1–1.5 hours from Seoul, with a large car park on site. This is the easiest option.
  • By bus: take an express bus from Seoul Express Bus Terminal (서울고속버스터미널) to Anseong (about 1 hour 10 minutes). The farm sits outside the town centre in Gongdo-eup, so take a taxi for the last leg. Our Seoul to Anseong bus guide walks through it step by step.
  • Check the last bus back to Seoul before you go. Taxis can be scarce near closing time.

Tips from our visit

  • Go in the afternoon in autumn and stay for sunset over the flower fields.
  • Wear shoes you don’t mind getting dusty. Paths around the pens are dirt and gravel.
  • Bring hand wipes. There are sinks, but you’ll want them after feeding.
  • Pair it with another stop. Anseong Machum Land and its weekend Namsadang folk performance are nearby. See things to do in Anseong.

Accessibility: strollers and wheelchairs

  • The farm is mostly flat, but many paths around the animal pens are dirt and gravel.
  • A stroller with big wheels works. Wheelchairs can get around the main paths, but the pens and flower fields are rougher.
  • Because it’s spread out, plan rest stops. There are benches and snack areas.
