Myeongdong Luggage Storage: Myeongdong Station Lockers, T-Luggage & Prices (2026)

Myeongdong luggage storage (명동 물품보관) is handy for one simple reason: Myeongdong is where many travellers spend their last afternoon shopping before the airport. Myeongdong Station (명동역) on Line 4 has 126 T-Locker lockers and a staffed T-Luggage counter, so you can shop without dragging a suitcase down the street stalls.

Myeongdong Station T-Locker locations

The Exit 4 banks are inside the ticket gate, so you tap your transit card to reach them. Plan to tap in when you drop the bag and again when you pick it up. If they’re full, try Hoehyeon Station (회현역) one stop away on Line 4 (46 lockers, inside the gates), or Euljiro 1-ga Station (을지로입구역) on Line 2 (around the central gate and the passage to Exits 3 and 4).

After the first 4 hours you pay extra by the hour, and weekend rates are higher. The app shows the exact price before you pay.

How to use a T-Locker

1. Book in the T-Locker (또타라커) app, which has an English menu, or scan the QR code on the locker to use the web version without installing anything. Seoul Metro finished rolling the no-app web option out to every station with lockers in August 2026.
2. Pick the station and a size. The app shows real-time availability, so check before you walk over.
3. Pay by card, open the locker with the code or QR, and keep your receipt or booking screen until you collect your bag.

Lockers aren’t for valuables, food, animals or anything hazardous. Need longer than a few days? T-Locker also has a monthly storage option.

T-Luggage counter at Myeongdong Station

The staffed T-Luggage (또타러기지) counter is on B1, inside Exits 1, 9 and 10, and is open 9:00 AM–10:00 PM. Weekday 4-hour prices run roughly 3,000–9,000 KRW by bag size, higher on weekends. It’s the better option for oversized suitcases or several bags.

Last-day plan: shop, collect, airport

1. Check out of your hotel and drop your bag at Myeongdong Station.
2. Shop and eat. The street food stalls set up from late afternoon.
3. Collect your bag, ride Line 4 two stops to Seoul Station, and take AREX to Incheon Airport.

Do I need to pay a subway fare to use the Exit 4 lockers?
Those lockers are inside the ticket gate, so you tap in to reach them. The bank near Exit 1 and the T-Luggage counter are the easier choices if you don’t want to pass the gate.

Can I leave luggage in Myeongdong overnight?
T-Locker charges by the hour. The T-Luggage counter closes at 10:00 PM.
