Hongdae luggage storage (홍대 물품보관) is mostly at Hongik University Station (홍대입구역). Its Line 2 section has one of the biggest T-Locker clusters in Seoul, with 171 lockers, plus a staffed counter on the Airport Railroad passage. That matters here, because many travellers arrive straight from the airport on AREX before check-in.

Last checked: October 2026. Locker data comes from Seoul Metro’s official open data (June 30, 2026). Check prices in the app before you go.

How to use a T-Locker

  1. Book in the T-Locker (또타라커) app, which has an English menu, or scan the QR code on the locker to use the web version without installing anything. Seoul Metro finished rolling the no-app web option out to every station with lockers in August 2026.
  2. Pick the station and a size. The app shows real-time availability, so check before you walk over.
  3. Pay by card, open the locker with the code or QR, and keep your receipt or booking screen until you collect your bag.

Lockers aren’t for valuables, food, animals or anything hazardous. Need longer than a few days? T-Locker also has a monthly storage option.

T-Luggage counter at Hongik University Station

The staffed T-Luggage (또타러기지) counter is on B1, in the connecting passage between Line 2 and the Airport Railroad. It’s open 9:00 AM–10:00 PM. Weekday 4-hour prices run roughly 3,000–9,000 KRW by bag size, higher on weekends. It’s the easy choice if you land with a big suitcase and your Hongdae guesthouse won’t let you check in until the afternoon.

Hongdae tips with luggage

  • Hongdae streets are hilly and crowded at night. Drop the bag, then explore.
  • Weekend afternoons are the busiest time for lockers. Check availability in the app before you walk over.
  • Many guesthouses in Hongdae will hold bags before check-in. Ask yours first, since it’s free.
