October 29, 2026 | by Korea Bestie
Seoul Sky (서울스카이) is the observatory at the top of Lotte World Tower, Korea’s tallest building at 555 m. From floors 117 to 123 you look straight down on the Han River, Lotte World’s castle and the whole southeast of the city, and on clear days to the mountains beyond. Here’s what it costs in 2026, when to go and whether it’s worth it compared with N Seoul Tower.

How much are Seoul Sky tickets?
| Ticket | Price (counter) | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Adult | about 31,000 KRW (~$23) | standard entry |
| Child | about 27,000 KRW (~$20) | check the official site for age bands |
| Fast Pass | about 62,000 KRW (~$47) | skips the elevator queue; only worth it on busy weekend evenings |
Booking platforms sell tickets to foreign visitors, often below the counter price, and some combine Seoul Sky with the Lotte World Aquarium or Lotte World. If you’ll visit at sunset on a weekend, booking a time slot ahead saves queuing.

What is on each floor of Seoul Sky?
- The ride up: double-decker “Sky Shuttle” elevators climb about 500 m in around a minute, with a video show on the walls.
- 117–118F: the main observation floors. The Sky Deck on the 118th floor has a glass floor, so you can stand over a drop of nearly 500 m. It’s the most popular photo spot.
- 119F: a dessert café.
- 120F, Sky Terrace: an outdoor terrace at 486 m where you feel the wind (closed in bad weather).
- 121F: gift shop and exhibitions or media shows that change through the year.
- 122–123F: a café and a lounge/bar with the highest seats in the building.

When is the best time to go?
- Sunset: arrive about an hour before sunset to see the city in daylight, at golden hour and lit up at night, all in one ticket.
- Clear days: visibility makes or breaks the visit. Check the fine-dust forecast (search “미세먼지” on Naver); on hazy days the view can be grey.
- Weekday mornings have the shortest lines; weekend evenings the longest.
- Autumn and winter often bring the clearest air.

How do I get to Seoul Sky?
- Subway: Jamsil Station (잠실역), Lines 2 and 8. Follow signs for Lotte World Mall; the Seoul Sky ticket office and entrance are in the basement of the tower.
- From Myeongdong or Hongdae: Line 2 straight to Jamsil, about 35–50 minutes.

What else is nearby?
- Lotte World Mall in the tower’s base: shops, restaurants and the Lotte World Aquarium.
- Lotte World: the indoor and outdoor theme park across the road.
- Seokchon Lake: a walking loop around the lake, lovely in cherry-blossom season and autumn.
Is Seoul Sky accessible?
Yes. Everything from Jamsil Station to the observation floors is indoors with elevators, so it’s one of the easiest major sights in Seoul for strollers and wheelchairs. The outdoor Sky Terrace may close in strong wind or bad weather, and the elevators get crowded at sunset, so travel light.
How can I save money on Seoul Sky?
- Book online through a platform that sells foreigner tickets; it’s often cheaper than the counter.
- Combo tickets with the aquarium or Lotte World cost less than buying separately if you’ll do both.
- Skip the Fast Pass on weekdays; queues are usually short.
- Free alternative: the Han River parks and Seokchon Lake give good, free views of the tower itself.
