Sugar Skull Central City Review: Tacos Before Your Bus at Seoul Express Bus Terminal
October 14, 2026 | by Korea Bestie
Sugar Skull Central City (슈가스컬 센트럴시티점) is a colourful Mexican restaurant on the first floor of Famille Station (파미에스테이션), the dining street inside Seoul’s Express Bus Terminal complex. We ate there on October 10, 2026, right before catching a bus. Here’s what we ordered and what we thought.
Last checked: October 2026. Menu and prices change. Check Naver Map for current hours.

We went ourselves: Friday, October 10, 2026. We wanted tacos and a quick meal before a bus.
What we ordered
- Tacos: soft tortillas with slow-cooked meat, pickled red onion and green salsa, plus a cup of red salsa. Fresh and well balanced, and the best thing we ate.
- Taco salad: a big fried tortilla bowl piled with salad, chicken, cheese and sour cream, with salsa and a cheese dip. Honest note: the fried shell made it pretty oily, but it was still tasty. Share it rather than tackling one alone.

Our verdict
- Good for: a craving for tacos, a meal before a long bus ride, or a break from Korean food.
- Atmosphere: bright, colourful Mexican fiesta décor. It’s casual and fine for solo diners and couples.
- Heads-up: the fried dishes are heavy. If you’re about to sit on a bus for hours, the tacos are the lighter choice.
Where it is
Famille Station, 1F (FP103-1), 205 Sapyeong-daero, Seocho-gu (서울 서초구 사평대로 205 파미에스테이션 1층). It’s between the Central City terminal (Honam line buses) and the Shinsegae department store, a few minutes from Express Bus Terminal Station (고속터미널역) on subway Lines 3, 7 and 9.

Good to know for foreign visitors
- Payment: restaurants in Famille Station generally take Visa and Mastercard. Cash is rarely needed.
- Ordering: many Korean restaurants use a table tablet or a kiosk. Most have an English option, or ask staff to help.
- English menu: not guaranteed. Papago’s camera translation works well on Korean menus.
- Vegetarian: say 고기 빼 주세요 (gogi ppae juseyo, “no meat, please”). Broths and sauces often contain meat or fish, so ask.
- Halal: we didn’t see halal certification at these restaurants. Itaewon has the largest choice of halal food in Seoul.
